Hi! I’m an autistic woman with mild learning disabilities and some complex health needs, living independently in Herne Bay with support from SeeAbility. I’m looking for calm, confident Support Workers with a great sense of humour to help me live life to the fullest.

You’ll support me in building skills, growing my independence, and enjoying everyday activities—like supermarket trips, relaxing at home, and learning new things. I value kindness, dependability, and people who understand when I need space. My behaviour can sometimes be challenging, but with patience, resilience, and guidance from my behaviour support team, you’ll help me thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Support me in daily routines and activities I enjoy
  • Encourage my independence and confidence
  • Follow personalised behaviour support plans
  • Help create a calm, happy home environment
  • Be part of a team that values small wins and long-term progress

Essential Criteria

To be considered, you’ll need experience in at least two of the following areas:

  • Autism and Learning Disabilities
  • Mental Health & Acute Treatment Units
  • Positive Behaviour Support
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Supporting Physical Behaviours that Challenge
  • Resilience and Compassion in care

Experience supporting someone transitioning from an ATU setting to supported living is a bonus.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a supportive, values-led organisation where your work truly matters. If you’re empathetic, open-minded, and ready to help someone live a full and active life, we’d love to hear from you.
