Who you will be Supporting?
As a young man navigating life with autism, I’m on the lookout for support that’s not just kind and caring, but also sprinkled with a good sense of humour; after all, laughter is the best medicine, right?
I have a passion for all things quirky—from my pets like snakes and tarantulas to my love for collecting fossils, animal skulls, and even Lego. While I can sometimes feel anxious and frustrated, especially given some not-so-great past experiences with support, I promise there’s a fun side to me waiting to shine once trust is built.
I appreciate consistency and compassion, especially on those tough days when I need someone to stay calm and understanding, ready to move forward without holding grudges.
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to two of the following areas of expertise:
- Mental Health
- Behaviours that Challenge
- Trauma Informed Care
