37.5 hours per week, (Monday to Sunday, shifts 7am-2pm/2pm-10pm)
Must have weekend availability

A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.

What will you be doing?
As a Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering individuals to live their fullest lives! Your responsibilities will include providing daily care and support such as assisting with personal care, preparing meals, managing medications, and handling other daily tasks.
You'll build strong relationships by understanding the unique needs of those you support, helping them to live life on their own terms. You'll also empower independence by assisting with personal goals, encouraging creative exploration, and supporting social engagement through activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies.
Above all, you'll ensure that individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who will you be supporting?
In Exeter we have eight self contained flats each with a bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom or shower room. There is also a shared communal lounge, conservatory and a garden.
Exeter Support Service is a supported living service for adults with learning and other disabilities, many of whom have sight loss.
We also provide high quality and flexible solutions for people living with sight loss and other disabilities in their own homes in Devon. Our care is individually tailored and person-centred, and follows a thorough assessment of need and understanding each individual's aspirations.
