Who you will be Supporting?
Fir Tree Lodge is a 10-bed purpose-built residential home, for adults with complex care needs, learning disabilities and sight loss. Some of the people we support do have behaviours that can challenge. However, with the support of our amazing team, who are positive, non-judgemental, and have a consistent approach, they deliver exceptional care!
As we are growing, we are looking to strengthen our support worker family, to share in future successes and fulfil and empower lives. The people we support all need a helping hand with all aspects of daily living, from personal care and making sure nutritional needs are met. Being physically fit is key, as some of the people we support are wheelchair users and also use hoists to support mobility.
The people we support are a very active and passionate group who spend a lot of time getting out and about and engaging within the local community. Some of the activities they love include, music therapy, arts and crafts, swimming and spending time in the accessible garden. Your support will help us to continue to create unforgettable moments and memories and provide the highest quality of care to the people we support!
