Who you will be supporting?
I'm so thrilled about my upcoming move to my very own apartment in Redhill, with the wonderful support of SeeAbility! I'm looking for someone truly special, someone experienced in supporting a young lady like me, who has complex health needs. These include autism, learning disabilities, and Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata.
I'll need a helping hand with all aspects of daily living, from personal care and making sure my nutritional needs are met, to communicating using Makaton and picture exchange communication systems. Assistance with mobility will also be greatly appreciated, as well as someone who understands and supports my physical and emotional well-being. I'm incredibly optimistic about finding the perfect person to share this exciting new chapter with!
I'm passionate about roller blading at Battersea Park, and I'm also a huge Christmas enthusiast, especially when it comes to the music! This means I'm naturally patient with repetitive tasks. I'm aware that my behaviour can sometimes be challenging, so a positive, non-judgemental attitude is really important to me. You'll need to be calm, patient, and resilient, and have a consistent approach, which I believe is a fantastic quality!
I'm seeking a dedicated individual to support me on a 2:1 basis. If you're physically fit, dependable, and passionate about empowering others, I'd be thrilled to have you as part of my amazing team!
