Support Worker

- Location: Seaford, East Sussex
- Salary: £12.00 per hour (£23,400 per annum) pro-rata plus benefits.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Shifts: 7.00am to 3.00pm or 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis.
- Employment type: Full-time, Permanent.

Who will you be supporting?
SeeAbility is a charity supporting people with learning disabilities, sight loss, and a wide range of other needs. We are a forward thinking supported living service, always striving to improve and find better ways of doing things.
At Barclay House we are a forward-thinking residential service, always striving to improve and find better ways of doing things. We are an established staff team who share a passion for making a difference to the people we support in whatever way we can.
Furthermore, as Support Worker you will be responsible for:
- Daily activities such as personal care; laundry; meal preparation; medication and administration.
- Getting to know the people you will care for and help them to live the life they want to live.
- Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the people you will care for
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you will take care of
- Helping the people you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims.
- Planning and be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities
- Assisting the people, you will assist to manage their personal affairs making, preparing for, and attending any appointments.
- Ensuring the people, you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality.

You will be looking for up to 37.5 per week and happy to work on a rota basis, covering a combination of mornings, evenings, and weekend support.
