Senior Support Worker – Make Every Day Matter!

Location: 

Horley, Surrey

Salary:

£13.53 per hour (£26,383.50 per annum) plus benefits. Sleep-ins are compulsory and are paid at £50 per sleep.

Hours:

37.5 per week, guaranteed – stability you can count on

Contract:

Full-time, permanent

Driving Licence:

Manual UK licence desirable

What You’ll Need

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Experience in at least two areas: Visual Impairments, Autism, Learning Disabilities, or Manual Handling.
  • A Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent) and willingness to progress to Level 3.
  • A strong team player who is professional, calm under pressure, and has a sense of humour.
  • Someone who values respect, dignity, and equality for the people we support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support adults with learning disabilities and autism in a purpose-built, accessible home.
  • Lead and motivate your team, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with social care standards.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities from social events, to holidays, helping people achieve their goals.
  • Keep accurate records, perform audits, and maintain quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with managers to supervise staff performance and development.
