 Location:

Drayton, Abingdon, Oxfordshire

 Salary:

Β£13.16 per hour (Β£25,662 per annum) plus benefits

 Hours: 

7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm – 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)

 Contract:

Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent

 Driving Requirement:

Manual UK licence required

John* You’ll be supporting John, a vibrant individual with complex needs who’s moving into a specially adapted home.

John loves music (especially classical), Disney films, colouring, and outdoor fun like trampolining and swings. He also enjoys story time and trips to cafΓ©s and going on drives. His dad is a big part of his life, so family involvement is key.

You’ll be making a real impact with person who have:

  • Learning disabilities, including using communication tools like Makaton or PECs
  • Working with individuals with autism and/or visual impairments
  • Experienced with behaviour that is highly challenged and applying Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies

⚠️Please Note:

**From October to about maybe the end of the year, you’ll need to travel to Birmingham (B38 area) during his transition before he moves to Drayton, Abingdon. As his new home is being renovated for his person centred care and needs. We will pay towards travel during this transition period.
