SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER

Location: Ditton Road, Surbiton, Surrey

Salary: £19,812 -£20,202 per annum + benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working on a 7 day rota 7am - 3pm, 2pm - 10pm and alternative weekends.

Ditton Road is a residential home for four women and one male with complex needs including physical disabilities, visual impairment and learning disabilities.

We are looking for a senior support worker to come and join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker or senior support worker looking for their next career move. If you are passionate about providing an excellent standard of support and have or would like to specialise in making a difference to someone we support then we would like to hear from you.

You will support the manager, deputy manager and other team members to help the people we support live an extraordinary life each and every day by providing excellent, person centred support, which is both safe, in line with individual care plans and in accordance with our policies and procedures. In addition you’ll act as a role model, supervisor and mentor to our support workers and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development and appraisals.

You will ideally have an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or will be working towards this qualification.

Being a driver is desirable as some of our individuals own their own vehicles, you will also need to have a manual license and be prepared to drive a work vehicle.

Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check (paid for by SeeAbility).
