Salary: up to £29,400 ( 18.5 hours per week) + Benefits
Location: Heather House, Tadley, RG26
Hours: part time, 18.5 hours per week
• 28 days holiday (incl. bank holidays), increasing to 36 days with long service (1 extra day for each year of service)

Heather House provides support for young adults with a range of disabilities. We specialise in supporting and assisting people with sight loss and offer individual personalised support in our Nursing Home throughout the Tadley area. We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do.
We require an experienced Speech and Language therapist who has knowledge and experience of supporting individuals with Dysphagia, complex communication, disabilities and sight loss. You must hold a professional qualification and be registered with HCPC and RCSLT.
The main purpose of your role will be to:
- Carry out assessments, diagnosis and therapy for the individuals that we support
- Training and advice for the staff team to enhance each person’s quality of life.
- Ensuring all documentation for the individuals that we support is up to date, accurate and evidenced based
- To liaise with families and other professionals within the service and the organisation with regards to Speech and Language therapy needs
Relationships:
- Provide support and information to the people we support and their families.
- Interact effectively on a professional level with colleagues, and seek to establish and maintain productive relationships with all.
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
