Specialist Support Worker - Autism and Learning Difficulties
Location: Banbury, OX16 1GZ, Oxfordshire
Salary: £11.00 per hour - £14.00 per hour
- Paid Induction
- Additional £1200 per year based on 2 sleep in nights per month
- Overtime rate: Weekdays £11 per hour and weekends £14 per hour (Above 37.5 hours contract)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a shift basis
- Shift Patterns: 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm – 10.00 pm
- Monday to Sunday

About You:
We are looking for calm, patient and resilient Support Workers who will take the time to get to know the people we support and will be able take a calm and consistent approach towards motivating them to engage in the activities they like and enjoy. You can expect to support with a range of daily living tasks which can involve personal care, laundry, meal preparation and medication administration.
In this role you will experience behaviours that others may find challenging. With the knowledge and support of the existing team, as well as the appropriate training, you will learn how best to respond to these situations confidently.
Oxfordshire Support Service – Banbury provides supported living services for 6 young males who have learning disabilities and autism. We provide 24/7 support to some people, so you will need to have flexibility to work shifts between 07:00am - 22:00pm, nights, alternative weekends and Bank Holidays.
