Female Support Worker

Location:  Fir Tree Lodge, Tadley, RG26
 
Salary: £10.52 per hour + Benefits 

Hours:  Saturday and Sunday

Who will you be supporting?
 
Fir Tree Lodge provides support for  young adults with a range of disabilities. We specialise in supporting and assisting people with sight loss and offer individual personalised support in our residence throughout the Tadley area. We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do at Fir Tree Lodge.

We provide support to 10 young people, 3 ladies and 7 gentlemen who are determined to live life to the full. No two days are the same, our individuals enjoy going out shopping, for dinner, swimming and having fun.

Our homes each have their own welcoming and experienced team of Support Workers, Deputy’s and Managers who will assist you in your journey and help your professional development.

 
About you

You will be looking part-time or full-time  role and happy to work on a rota basis, covering morning, evening and weekends. Although we welcome you if you've been a Care Assistant, Support Worker or equivalent, experience isn’t necessary. As a support worker you will:

  • Provide emotional support to individuals and their families.
  • Provide support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, personal care and paperwork. 
  • Assisting with activities and accessing the local community
  • Support and monitor their healthcare needs, including administering medication, attending appointments and with training, completing health actions plans.
