Female Positive Behaviour Support Worker – Sittingbourne

Location: Sittingbourne, ME10 

Salary: Up to £10.25 to £13.63 per hour.

  • Shift rate: £10.25 per hour weekdays and weekends up to 37.5 hours
  • Overtime rate: Weekdays £10.25 per hour and weekends £13.66.
  • Sleep-ins are £50 per night (£1,200 per annum based on 2 sleep-ins per month).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis.

Employment type: Full-time, Permanent.

Who will you be supporting?

Hi, my name is Candace and I'm shortly going to be living in my own home in the Sittingbourne area of Kent and will be supported by SeeAbility.

I’m looking for female support workers to support me to do the things I love when I move into my new house.

Experience supporting people like me, a young lady with learning disabilities and some complex health needs including epilepsy, would be essential.  I am looking for happy, calm, enthusiastic and trustworthy Support Workers to join my team. You need to support me to lead the life I want and to help me communicate using a variety of methods including Makaton and picture cards.

I need a quiet and happy environment in my home but I love being around people who have a great personality and can make me laugh. I really enjoy listening to music – especially reggae (Bob Marley is my favourite).  I’d love it if you liked these things too. 

I’d love for people to join my team who are 100% reliable and able to provide me with personal care support.

About you

You will be looking for full-time hours (37.5 per week) and happy to work on a rota basis, covering a combination of weekday and weekend support.

Although we welcome you if you've been a Care Assistant, Support Worker or equivalent, experience isn’t necessary. At SeeAbility, our values are of upmost importance to us, paired with a kind, caring and an enthusiastic approach.
