Deputy Manager

Location: Clanfield, Waterlooville, 

Salary: £28,000 per year + Benefits

Hours: full time, up to 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a Deputy Manager for a lovely, small supported living home in Clanfield, Waterloovile. We are looking for a passionate and caring individual looking to progress their career within social care.  Are you ready to take the next step to become a Deputy Manager?

 
Who will you be supporting?

This post will give you the opportunity to support one gentlemen with complex health and physical needs to live as independently as possibly in his own home. We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do at Dorset. 

Supporting the Service Manager and deputising for them in their absence you will lead a small team to provide extraordinary, person centred support, which is safe, maximises choice, dignity and independence as well as the achievement of individual goals, however small or large, each and every day. You will be a role model and mentor and work in partnership with the people we support, their families and external agencies to ensure creative solutions and outcomes for a truly outstanding quality of life.

 

About you

You will be looking for full-time hours  and happy to work on a rota basis, covering a combination of mornings, evenings and weekend support. 

Experience of working with people who have learning disabilities and/or visual impairment is advantageous. You will possess or are working towards/ willing to complete a CQF Level 3 in health and social care.
