Support Worker – Woodlands

Location: Horley, RH6 7DS

Salary: Up to £10.05 per hour, Qualified.

  • Shift rate: £10.05 per hour weekdays and weekends up to 37.5 hours
  • Overtime rate: Weekdays £10.05 per hour and weekends £13.36
  • Sleep-ins are £50 per night (£1,200 per annum based on 2 sleep-ins per month).

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.

Employment type: Full-time, Permanent.

  • Develop professionally to achieve professional qualifications - Care Certificate, QCF levels 2-5, at no cost to you! (Unqualified rate £9.90 per hour).
  • 28 days holiday (incl. bank holidays), increasing to 36 days with long service (1 extra day for each year of service).

Who will you be supporting?

Woodlands is a supported living service and offers purpose-built accessible accommodation for adults who have learning disabilities or are autistic. We are looking for dedicated and ambitious individuals who can offer complete commitment to supporting our adults to fulfil their potential. This is a challenging role with huge rewards.

We provide 24/7 support to some people, so you will need to have flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.

As a Support Worker you will be supporting with:

  • Supporting people achieve their goals and aspirations through different forms of activities in and outside of their homes.
  • Personal care and medication
  • Physical and emotional support.

Our homes each have their own welcoming and experienced team of Support Workers, Deputy’s and Managers who will assist you in your journey and help your professional development.

About you

You will be looking for full-time hours 37.5 per week and happy to work on a rota basis, covering a combination of mornings, days, evenings and weekend support, Monday to Sunday.

Although we welcome you if you've been a Care Assistant, Support Worker or equivalent, experience isn’t necessary. At SeeAbility, our values are of upmost importance to us, paired with a kind, caring and an enthusiastic approach.
