Support Worker - Derby Lodge
Location: Leatherhead, KT22 8ET
Salary: Up to £10.30 to £13.70 per hour, Qualified.
- Shift rate: £10.30 per hour weekdays and weekends up to 37.5 hours
- Overtime rate: Weekdays £10.30 per hour and weekends £13.70
- Sleep-ins are £50 per night (£1,200 per annum based on 2 sleep-ins per month).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis.
Employment type: Full-time & Part-time, Permanent.

Who will you be supporting?
Derby Lodge is a lively residential home for adults with a range of complex needs. All individuals predominantly have varying levels of learning disabilities and a visual impairment. We provide support for additional needs, including wheelchair users from various physical disabilities, epilepsy, diabetes, heart issues, mental health problems, dual sensory loss, kidney disease and management of cancer.
At Derby Lodge, we are looking for calm, patient and resilient Support Workers who will take the time to get to know the people we support and will be able take a calm and consistent approach towards motivating them to engage in the activities they like and enjoy. You can expect to support with a range of daily living tasks which can involve personal care, laundry, meal preparation and medication administration.
This is a challenging role but very rewarding for the right person. Our homes each have their own welcoming and experienced team of Support Workers, Deputy’s and Managers who will assist you in your journey and help your professional development.
About you
You will be looking for full-time hours 37.5 per week and happy to work on a rota basis, covering a combination of mornings, evenings and weekend support.
Although we welcome you if you've been a Care Assistant, Support Worker or equivalent, experience isn’t necessary. At SeeAbility, our values are of upmost importance to us, paired with a kind, caring and an enthusiastic approach.
