About The Role
We have three cookery sessions at our Activity and Resource Centre in Leatherhead. Two sessions on a Tuesday at  9.30am - 12.30pm and 1:30pm - 4:30pm.  There is also a session on a Thursday at 1.30pm - 4.30pm.  SeeAbility employees run the sessions but we would very much like volunteers to give one to one support to help the adults we support to chop vegetables and do simple cooking activities . Learning new skills which helps to make them more independent, these sessions are not only beneficial to the people we support but also great fun.
About You:
Training will be given in Food Hygiene, sighted guiding and safe guarding. We would like our volunteers to be good listeners, tolerant  and happy to work closely with people.
