Position: Head of Supported Employment
Location: Open to flexible working options, with an expectation to base some days at the central office in Epsom, Surrey. 
Salary & Details: £50,000 per annum, permanent

In 2020, SeeAbility launched its first supported employment programme with the aim of supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss to secure and retain work that matches their talents and meets their career ambitions.

Today, as our communities begin to open again in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, there has never been a more important time to ensure that people with disabilities have the same opportunity as everyone else to secure jobs and build careers, especially as the nature of work and workplaces evolves.

We’re now looking for a Head of Supported Employment who will embrace this changing landscape and thrive in a complex role to lead and grow our ambitious programme.  

Scope of the Job

  • To lead and grow our supported employment programme for SeeAbility based on the National Occupational Standards for supported employment and the British Association for Supported Employment (BASE) guidelines
  • To lead a team of Supported Employment Coaches who are trained in the National Occupational Standards for supported employment
  • To develop a portfolio of employers and to secure funding to ensure the sustainability of the programme
