FEMALE WAKING NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER

Salary: £9.50 - £9.65 per hour + benefits

Location: Surbiton, Surrey

Hours: Various shifts available

On a day-to-day basis the job typically includes supporting with settling the individuals ensuring they are comfortable during the night and checking on their general well-being, possibly administering medication during the night (full training is provided) and carrying out some domestic duties such as cleaning, washing and ironing.

There are no specific qualifications needed to be a support worker – beyond a good attitude and willingness to learn, which are essential – but experience in the care sector is definitely advantageous.

Ditton Road is a supported living home for 5 adults with complex needs including physical disabilities, alternative communication needs and visual impairment.

Being a driver is desirable as some of our individuals own their own vehicles, you will also need to have a manual license and be prepared to drive a work vehicle.

Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check (paid for by SeeAbility).
