Job Role

Salary: £17,062.50 - £17,355 per annum + benefits

Location: Millennium centre, Leatherhead, Surrey

Hours: 37.5 per week, (part-time positions also available)

We believe people with Autism, learning disabilities and sight loss should live the best life possible. We want to create opportunities for people to take part in things they enjoy doing, and help them make choices about when and where they do them.

We are looking for staff to support people to achieve personal goals and take control of their lives by ensuring they have opportunities to be involved in activities that are meaningful to them. By identifying people who might have similar interests we can pool support to enable them to do the things they want to do.

We work closely with people to find out what they want and then support them to do it by matching them with staff who have similar interests, a formula that helps lead to great outcomes.

This might include:

•Going to work

•Being a volunteer

•Taking part in education or learning activities

•Enjoying leisure or recreational activities

•Making and spending time with friends

•Taking part in cultural/faith based activities.

We want to provide an inclusive service, supporting people to participate in ordinary community activities wherever possible. Our approach is based on a philosophy that all people have valuable contributions to make to their community.

Do you want to be part of this? if so apply here and we look forward to meeting you.

Our teams are going the extra mile during this time to ensure people with learning disabilities, sight loss and other disabilities keep safe, well, and happy in their own homes – especially now going out to usual activities and interests are restricted. And with our employee’s health and wellbeing at the heart of what we do, we want to expand our teams and give everyone a chance to recharge their batteries at this busy time.

Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check (paid for by SeeAbility). We are a responsive employer and every application to be responded to.
